Joyce has one daughter and loves spending time with her grandson. She is addicted to reading fiction novels and murder mysteries and loves to golf. Her hometown is Parma Heights, Ohio. She remains a loyal Cleveland sports fan (Tribe, Browns and Cavaliers) despite all the rough years.

Who or what inspires you?
There are two elderly ladies in their eighties and one man who is 100 years old at my mother’s assisted living community, who have the best attitudes. I hope to be like them some day and continue to enjoy life even when I’m that old. Although most of the people there have walkers, so I hope by keeping up my exercise routine, I won’t need a walker when I’m 90!

Favorite things to do while away from the office?
I love going on vacation, reading a fiction or murder mystery on my Nook book and watching the Tribe during baseball season with my husband Calvin. We also like the ballet and the symphony.
I exercise at a gym in the morning before work – I feel it’s a necessity, and I play on a golf league in the summer.

Bacon or sausage for breakfast?
Neither, I love to eat yogurt with berries for breakfast; however, when we go camping I do enjoy eating bacon.
