Since our foundation in the mid-1970s as a typesetting shop, we’ve set type and provided meticulous perfection through proofreading and editing services. By the late 1980s we changed from setting type on CompuGraphic typesetting systems and using artboards to keyline, to Macintosh computers and talented people who provided full service desktop publishing and page layout. We called it MacCreations; customers called it “a life saver!”
Over the years, ad agencies and design studios turned to Metzgers for answers and solutions as well as back-up and support for overflow work and “the grunt work” of page formatting. Today, many corporations, universities and small businesses lean on Metzgers for our “put the puzzle pieces together” type of service.
