Takayoshi Suzuki of Fuji visits Metzgers

TOLEDO, OH - August 10, 2011 - Takayoshi "Ted" Suzuki; Manager, Strategic Product Planning for FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division visited Metzgers of Toledo, OH, USA on July 21 to tour and to brainstorm innovation and research for future needs and requirements in PrePress, Offset Printing & Digital Printing.

The meeting and tour was held on the hottest day of record in the Toledo area, but that didn’t slow down the Fuji and Metzgers teams. They toured the operations, met several of the employees and discussed current needs, future dreams and workflow ideas that could be mutually beneficial to both Fuji, Metzgers and to the U.S. print market.

Suzuki visited a few other print companies across the U.S., including locations in Ann Arbor, MI and Detroit, MI.

"It has been a great experience for me, and it is very helpful for me to understand you and the U.S. commercial print market,” said Suzuki. “I believe your company is one of the best examples for Japanese printing companies."

While touring the facility, Suzuki became aware of the Metzgers environmental efforts and expressed great interest in the solar array on top of the two buildings, which generates up to 13% of Metzgers annual energy.

Metzgers is a printing, mailing, fulfillment, and marketing firm serving corporations, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and ad agencies across the U.S.
